Nice, clean, good looking images. The processing looks nice (and consistent), although IMHO the grain might be a bit too heavy handed. I'd probably straighten #2 out a bit, but that's my OCD talking.
These are great! The I love the connection between them, it just looks natural. I like the grain, any more and I think it would be too much but I like what you did.
I noticed that #1 and #2 are a little tilted vertically and the window panes don't run up and down. That was the only minorly distracting thing I saw.
I always go by "would I hang it on the wall"..... Number seven I would. The others are technically well done but number seven is the best of the bunch to my eye......
Thanks everyone. First time posting images here and I'm surprised by the amount of feedback you get. I really do appreciate it.
This was a fun series of images to do and we'd been planning to do it for a while and finally got to do them. Teagan HATES the beard, hence the title. Nathan LOVES the beard and won't shave it for anything. . Teagan I've known for almost 8 years since she was a gangly 12 year old kid in my class and we've remained in touch ever since. I have another couple of series of images with here that I will post later as well.
Nicely photographed but I'm not sure that the couple will enjoy the processing as much as fellow togs do. Lacks a bit of punch IMHO and ditto the 'love' !

CC - Image #8
1.) Hair color is inconstant with the previous images
2.) I feel the crop is a hair to tight - not as big a deal as the hair color.
Agree with point 1. I was having real issues with the colour of this image for some reason. I just couldn't get it right. Maybe I'll try it again. Thanks.

I'm curious if you added the grain or if it was a result of your ISO?
Grain is subjective, people like it or they don't. If it's your style, then you roll with it whether people like it or not. Really love these shots and these poses. Only suggestion would be to include more eye to eye interaction between the two. But that's a very minor nit, and you probably have some, just didn't post. Really nice set!
