Really enjoyed putting the time in to find and shoot them. Thanks for the advice
Over the last week, here in the central south, a very poor season has suddenly changed into one of the best Octobers in recent years. (I have several mushroom posts in the main forum).
Finally got around to test the Novoflex Castel-Q cross rails. First time I take pictures manually and not via software / scripts for macro work. Wish Sony would implement focus bracketing, one has to wonder why they don't implement it already.
Very simple setup; tripod, both castel-Q rails on the ballhead, camera, a flash and a remote shutter. It's a focus-stack out of 84 pictures in Helicon and far from perfect, in the deeper parts of the petals you can sometimes see the missing focus. However, I kinda like how it turned out.
Post-processing wise I removed some dust and dead cells from the petals.

I'm planning on getting more into Macro photography in the future. I find it to be very enjoyable, but hard to master. Here are a few of my favorite shots.
