Well, while snow on the peaks would be cool, remember snow doesn't stay long on those peaks at all. Plus, while you might be missing some snow, I will say that this shot is so sweet that in my mind nothing was missing! You got a sweet angle with some super sweet light. I love the flow of the water and how you composed this.
Way to go on having a vision for a shot, and then being able to follow through with it. You nailed this and I am voting for this puppy.

Thanks Jim! That means a lot to me coming from you This was one of those times when I felt really good about the shot in the moment, and it looked how I imagined it would when I came back to edit.

Thepeaks look nice with the evening light, no saying snow would have improved it.
nice shot
Thanks for the kind words! I was going through some old photos, and noticed that I haven't seen an appreciable amount of snow on the high country peaks in three years due to drought. I was just poking at the feeling I always seem to get about never quite having a photo the way I want it, even though I think this is currently my favorite photo of mine.
Now i know where there are some waterfalls by the start of the trail to Cathedral Lakes, but i am not familiar with any waterfalls that would line up with Unicorn Peak. I guess i am going to have to pull some maps out and figure out where you took this from.
