Mornings in the Chilean Patagonia bring enormous joy. The newly awaken day frequently welcomes spectators with amazing light. Here is another example of light extravaganza that Patagonia offers to those that are waiting patiently. This photo was taken in April, early in the morning, in the area of Torres del Paine. The mildly colored sky on this peaceful morning came to life just after a very dark and stormy night.
This might be one of the last photos from my Patagonia 2014 Tour.
This is a single exposure taken with Nikon D800 and 14-24mm lens @ 24mm f11 and 1/20 sec ISO100, no filters.
As usually, please view on black and enjoy!
Comments appreciated.

Thanks, Jim and David. I noticed that quite a few people enjoyed these soft hues of Awakening Torres. As usually it is just a matter of personal preferences, name recognition, timing, luck and of course technical/artistic skills.
A very cool looking shot! I really like your more subdued processing here. Nice work on the composition, your perfectly placed the peaks in the reflection really pays off.
So it sounds like sunrises were typically very nice?
