Playing around last night... if I had gotten there 30 minutes earlier, the starfish would have been exposed between waves, which would have made for a much more interesting shot.
I've yet to fully get use to a EVF and miss the OVF. Which has me keeping an eye on the D850
It's looking like it's going to be a great 1 body solution (D810 was so close).
What I don't miss about Nikon is their crap LV implementation. Hope that's fixed this round with the D850.
If you're worried about the fact that something new is coming out, or that the price might drop, you're better off to just not buy anything electronic...ever.
