#9 - Nankeen Night Heron - another rare sighting of this bird for me!
D810 + 400 f2.8E FL VR + 2x TCIII (800mm) - 1/640s f/8.0 iso220 shot from about 60mts away and cropped about 50%.
#10 - Eastern Bristlebird - Not the easiest of birds to get as they are very rare - about 2000 in existance - and rarely venture out of the undergrowth. This little guy was singing his heart out.
ha ha
good one, she sounds like a disgruntled canon shooter
if I was him I would of run off to the closest KFC, grabbed a couple chicken dinners in the boxes, given them to her because she looks like she needed them and then told her to save the boxes to use as slippers later, the boxes could also double as camera bags suitable for her canon gear
My wife, kids and I were on our way to a family gathering, and passed by this old barn in White Clay Creek. They are not always willing to let me photograph them, but I said lets stop for a quick photo, and this was the result...
My wife and I just returned from a road trip through the National Parks and other areas of the beautiful Southwest. We had a great time, and I highly recommend you do it sometime. We visited Zion, Bryce, Antelope Slot Canyon, MV, Grand Canyon South Rim, and Sedona.
We arrived at Monument Valley on a windy afternoon that was moving the clouds quickly across the valley and provided some dramatic lighting.
