This has been my worst season for photographing hummers. Days passed without seeing a hummer. Hot...cold.....cold...hot...cold.. boring... wrens....goldfinch... wedding....biting at the bit.
I decided to give it a try yesterday and in 43-minutes came away with 761 shots. Today was good too but only 277.

Nicely done Ted....I've heard that it is a bad year for hummers up and down the east coast. I've only had a few sightings total at my feeders and zero photos so you are way ahead of the game....

These are wonderful Ted. I enjoyed each and everyone one.
I do love it when they perch on the flowers they are feeding on. Your shots are wonderful.
Still really slow here for the hummers.

Great hummer set as per your usual Ted. Sorry to hear the season is slow this year. August may bring better action.
