A well-deserved congratulations, Birdie! After looking at the image for the umpteenth time (it's still terrific) I realized that I enjoy it not only for the pose, comp, background, and complementary colors, but also for the subjects themselves! Flora AND Fauna--you've got all the N&W bases covered.
I'm just a hobbyist, but have a hummingbird feeder on our deck. I set up my camera on a tripod with a wireless trigger and shoot from time to time. That's the kind of sharpness and exposure I covet, but I just can't get there. But this is the kind of results I'm striving for. Beautiful picture!
