Wow! Great shot. Fish, frogs, shrimp all usually stunned and a bit slow but a speedster like a dragonfly- Wow. As you say both very lucky. Talk about split second timing and critical focus! Big congrats on this one Eric a super action shot.

Thanks Karl.....that was one very cooperative heron that let me sit probably less than 10' from it while it hunted the dragons that were all around. An no, that dragon is not going to breathing any fire anytime soon...RIP
