p.1 #2 · Sony a7s Topic [DR + HIGH ISO + RAW + compare 1dx] - REVIEW
Would you be willing to upload the raw for the first image? Very interested in testing these files out. From just this however it looks very impressive.

You are amazing, thank you!
EDIT: Messed with both files and they are great! Great scalability as well, sooo tempted to switch away from my D800. Own a a6000 and want the step up. I know it's a cliché thing to ask, can you upload a ISO 6400 file, really wondering about the ability to manipulate high ISO.

Thanks for sharing these. Is the a7s your only Sony a, thefoxeur? It'd be interesting to see a comparison between it and the 7 and/or 7r with their files downsized to match.
p.1 #9 · Sony a7s Topic [DR + HIGH ISO + RAW + compare 1dx] - REVIEW
It would be quite interesting to see the A7 vs A7r, with the same lens, with normalized file sizes (up to 36mp and down to 12mp) when it comes to recovering shadows and just general high iso resolution vs. noise.
I see amp glow on the extreme left edge of the frame. A dpreview user noticed it on theirs for long-exposure High ISO shots, and a dpreview editor saw it on their copy even on the LCD Live View preview. The fact that you can see it at ISO 12,800 with a f/2 1/20 exposure is a bit disconcerting. All three bodies seem to have the glow at the same position, indicating it's an undissipated heat source on/near that area of the sensor.
EDIT: Got the ISO wrong, It's 128,000, not 12,800. hehe, not so disconcerting then
