Justin,

Your becoming one of those guys that I always look forward to your posting man. Great stuff. love your tenacity to get every thing super sharp. I like the comp and getting the moon there is a great bonus. Does the sky-map app require a cell/data connection because some of the apps I've tried on the phone without data/cell reception it's pretty useless in the area.

Thanks Jason. For the sky apps, I always use them before I get out of cell reception range, and just take screenshots to refer to when I'm out shooting.

Wow, a time consuming shot.
How many shots you have stacked on to get the awesome final result?
I wish the moon could be less shy to show a full one. Then the image is a perfect one.

Awesome shot Justin. I love the depth, and the leading line. The hint of light on the background peak is fantastic, and I really dig how everything leads up to the moon.

Sorry for the slow reply. This is a 12 shot focus blend and no exposure bracketing was needed. I agree, a full moon would have made the clouds even more interesting, but I'll take what I can get for only being there 2 days

Thanks Ben, glad you like it! Ive definitely gotten some inspiration from your twilight shots in the past.

My first thought Justin was 2 "lovers" hugging! Intertwined at the top in an embrace.
Great capture! Very dramatic!
