It looks like there is more 'photographer' work involved with the youngsters to get the stand out images you strive for Kirk. Those are tiny subjects without a lot of dynamics of their own other than their fragility and innocence and you did wonders in capturing those attributes my friend
Simple harmony with light and mellow BG's lets these youngsters stand on their own in a lovely way. You didn't miss a beat buddy, you got the goods and the cuteness in the package!
1,2,3 and 4 are lovely and comfortable..........
5,6 and 7 got some sizzle...............
#8 a fine display of innocent youth
#9 poetic parenting.........lovely comp sir!
Good stuff at your favorite place and at your favorite 'level' on interaction
Many thanks for the very thoughtful and generous words buddy.
As you've seen through so many pics of this pond, it's really a magical place when shot at a very low angle. The BG foliage/colors are mellower this season and working nicely as I wait for the birds to feed in those areas... that's the only "work" necessary... the rest is easy.
Really appreciate it my friend... be well.

What a stellar set Kirk, the images are super sharp with great low angles and beautiful bokeh for BGD's. Not much to nit here, except they're not mine.
Holy!! D, I'm at a loss for words on these. I really am. I can't think of how they could've been done any better than this. It's really top notch work!!!

Just love the gradient BG your favorite spot offers and the light is killing me here

As you know buddy my favorite spot at the pond makes these easy pickins'... but I am still really pleased with how much they loved the camera.
Humble thanks for the very gracious words my friend... most appreciated.

Excellent work as always Kirk. Hope to make it out there soon before they lost the cute factor.
Thanks Thang, really appreciate it as always.
I hope you're able to get out there soon too, I don't think I'll be able to get back there for a couple of weeks.
Good luck my friend.

Thanks H, really appreciate the good words buddy. This is definitely my best set ever of these little guys. Lovin' the 500.
You not only captured great photos in a technical sense, but you have done something much more difficult by capturing the tenderness of creatures for all viewers to experience in an intimate way.
Oh wow Kruk, these truly are stunners!!! I have no nits, picks or anything I can add to make these better. It has all come together for you here, the water, the subject, the light and hopefully not the ants! Only one thing could make these better in my mind, that is if they were on my HD! My hat is off to you Kirk, these are the shots we all dream of getting.
