I was very fortunate to spend an afternoon with these little guys last week... there were four different chicks who were brave enough to feed just beyond MFD for me.
Surrounding habitat has filled in nicely and was reflecting some lovely colors on the water surface... love this pond.

It looks like there is more 'photographer' work involved with the youngsters to get the stand out images you strive for Kirk. Those are tiny subjects without a lot of dynamics of their own other than their fragility and innocence and you did wonders in capturing those attributes my friend
Simple harmony with light and mellow BG's lets these youngsters stand on their own in a lovely way. You didn't miss a beat buddy, you got the goods and the cuteness in the package!
1,2,3 and 4 are lovely and comfortable..........
5,6 and 7 got some sizzle...............
