My wife and I are celebrating a milestone anniversary this year. We talked about choosing a city and visiting for a week for our anniversary and I offered to leave the camera gear at home. Charleston was one of the cities under consideration. After Jan spent a few minutes in front of the computer she told me Charleston is gorgeous and I would just have to take my camera gear with me. Who am I to argue?
To maximize my photography time and minimize my time spent away from my spouse, I decided to look for a local pro that knows the low country. After all, I did not want to draw down on my political capital account. I found Charleston Photography Tours operated by Tiffany and Keith Briley. They made sure I visited my priority locations and suggested a few more that I did not know about. I enjoyed two days of awesome photographic opportunities with the Briley's. Great people, fun to get to know and spend time with. If Charleston is on your list to visit, you should book mark their website.
Nice set. The 4th shot is just beautiful, but that's because the place is beautiful
I feel like I'm looking at better versions of Tony Sweet's shots. I've seen his shots from exactly the same location on his DVDs I've got years ago. I always wanted to take a few pics of these old arch-y trees myself....
I may just go there now faster
Thanks for sharing Tex,
