I lowered the wb to 4300K for this, and the RAW files really popped.
Beautiful Dustin. I know how you feel about the D600. Great body. Can't speak for the 14-24, except maybe drool a little. But you were doing great work with the Samyang 14, so I think it is partly the person behind the camera also. Just saying....
Well done on this. The composition is nice and I like the cooler WB as well. I usually find that the oranges are strong enough to hold up while the shadows get that nice purple/blue hue. I think I have the same shot somewhere, but that's AC for you. 2 shots sounds about right for the D600. I'm sure they're tack sharp and noiseless at full res.
My only nit pick is that the blacks look somewhat abrupt, as if the black level slider was 3-4 points high.
