Howdy Folks!
The idea for this topic is "Mature Beauty" and I am encouraging GROUP (open to all members) participation. So post YOUR favorite photos of mature (over 50 years old) women who strike you as "ageless beauty" or "natural beauty" or simply "beautiful."
This post is NOT about critique! It is about enjoying photos (and expressions) and beauty!
My goal? To showcase a wider range of "beautiful women" and to show the beauty of mature women. This can also be seen as a tribute to "Beauty" too.
I hope this topic will expand the view of what qualifies for "beauty" by showing diversity.
I started this topic to have a place to show the beauty of women who are no longer in their youth or in the first half of their lives.
Why? Because as I see it, "beauty" is something that can exist for a life-time!
Another reason for this topic? Many of the photos shown on FM tend to be of young women or teens. However, much of the population is mature (over 50), but I find that age group is less frequently shown here.
I think it would be interesting to see photos here, of mature (over 50) women who still have that charming look, captivating expressions, or something special. Of course they may be seen as a "natural beauty," but I also think there are women who are "beautiful" even if they do not have the "classic beauty" looks.
Of course you may post a photo of anyone (your mother, your wife, your grandmother, your client, your friend, etc.) that fits this simple criteria for this thread: "She is Over 50"

Great shots.
And your last image of the mischievous-looking, "sparkling personality" subject sends shivers down my spine. What a pleasure it must have been to spend some time with THAT lady.

Yep, she was a very fun subject (very nice and funny) and a beautiful person.

At a corporate event I took a few photos of the speaker who is an acomplished author. She asked me to edit and crop one of the photos for a head shot. I think that she looks beautiful.

Here's one of my favorites from many moons ago...
Ellen was a custodial person at a business in Chattanooga.
She always got to work about an hour before she was due and sat on a bench waiting.
So I used to go sit down and chat with her - such a beautiful soul. She reminded me of my own departed grandmother in her comportment.

Great photos...I still have my Canon D30......camera took fine photos and with RAW there was no problem blowing up the prints to 16x20 or even a bit larger.....noise at higher ISO was bad, but it was a great first camera......
