I got this sinking feeling in my stomach after I realized what had happened. I thought either the camera or the lens (or both) will be a goner for sure, so I wiped it off immediately and they kept working like nothing happened! I got lucky.
Great shot! The kids expressions are priceless. Being at the right place, at the right time, and nailing it. The smaller preview picture doesn't do the shot justice..

Thank you all for the kind words. I got lucky that day, being at the right place at the right time with the right focal length, shutter speed, ISO and all that. So lucky that even my gear survived! I should've bought a lottery ticket
