I'm driving to the loop the Monday after Air Tattoo, only one day allocated to it at the moment, but we'll see how it plays out...might have to go back again after doing the rest of the touring.

And don't worry, Nellis is worth it.
lucky bugger
i had thought of the loop, and then having to drive to get there, but jeez...they drive on the wrong side of the road ya know.
i checked out air tattoo, looks to be one hell of a show from what i see of the invited list, do me a favor though, don't post any pics of modern migs if you get em
Thanks Brian. I had two two hour sessions yesterday, all hand held. This is the light super-tele, right? I'm glad I didn't go for the 600. Have ordered a monopod.

Last year the Polish Air Force brought their Mig 29...I'm really interested to see what will show up this year. The invitation list is huge, but as per usual, most won't accept the invitation.
There's not a lot of operators of Migs, so it's really a waiting game to see what might come out. I'm excited to see the Eurofighters, Rafales, etc...but yes, I'm hoping for a Mig 29 of some sort...I was really hoping russia would get an invite since they might bring the OVT model, but alas...no bueno.

Listened to some old stuff en route to a 'tribute' shoot. Sad, day
indeed,
Bowie, Frey, 2016 is not off to a good start and we are only 3 weeks into it
i'm afraid that i am in the age group where we'll start losing more of the great ones from my era of music.
then what, can't think of one modern r&r band that will leave a lasting impression like these guys
