Nikon D3X, Mamiya 645 120mm f/4 Macro APO, fotodiox adaptor, SB28

+ this is using 3 images
+ blood is simply food colouring
+ the outline of the blood is digitally painted using a Wacom Intuos4 tablet
+ images are individually converted in Phase One Capture 7 but edited and layered on CS6
+ colour toned on CS6

The only thing I find odd, is the perspective of the cut fingers to the fingers behind the blade. They look a little too far right.

Good point but these are severed fingers so the other half has to be on a different angle, my take anyway.
