Wow, thanks for the kind words everyone! I had a busy day prepping for another upcoming trip, so sorry for the slow replies.

very nice. Is it on a well used trail or did you do an overnight?
The spot I shot this photo is a 75 minute hike from the huts that we stayed at. The area is 30km away from any roads, so it either takes a long hike, or a helicopter ride in. This trip my father and I choppered in, but my trip 2 weeks before I hiked in with a friend.

Very nice. What's all the red coloring on the foreground rocks?
Yes Gary is right, this is red lichen. In the full size file you can also see lighter white and green species as well. Next fall when I come here I want to focus on them closer and make the lichen a more prominent feature of my composition

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! That light is delicious. Hope we get that lucky this year! Killer image dude, great stitch and composition with the pano, love everything about it.
Thanks dude. Yeah this was the most epic day of photography I've had so far. I could honestly put together 3 or more totally epic shots from it with completely different conditions and light. Eventually ....
BTW, I want to shoot more epic grand landscapes like this. We should hit up Mt Robson.
