Here is a truly special moment captured during sunset in the Canadian Rockies. The beautiful Sunburst Peak draped in a blanket of backlight. No doubt Mount Assiniboine is the king of the area, however being hidden in clouds gave the Queen a chance to put on a magnificent show of her own!
This image encompasses a massive 180 degree field of view, to capture a unique angle and to show the true scale of the landscape. I wish I could say I found this spot deliberately, but honestly I tripped and feel into this small pit by accident. Luckily not ruining the snow on the rocks surrounding me!
This is amazing! What an absolutely brilliant display of light! As good as this photograph is, I am so jealous but happy for you that you got to experience this with your own eyes. Hope you were able to take your eyes away from the camera and soak it up

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!! That light is delicious. Hope we get that lucky this year! Killer image dude, great stitch and composition with the pano, love everything about it.
