You can see these little guys are getting antsy about leaving their palm tree nest in the first shots. They were getting more and more brave and the patience their mother showed with all four of them in these cramped quarters was really something to see. A couple of days later I was lucky enough to see them leave the nest. The young ones were not so brave out of the nest and were basically trying to walk underneath the mother as she made her way. The are off to an uncertain future so I wish them well.

Went into my shed yesterday to get something. First time I have been out there in about 6 months. After realizing all the insulation was torn down from the walls and ceiling i noticed a little black and white face slowly creep up from under a piece of insulation about three feet from my face. Neither of us made a sound, i just slowly backed up and walked out of my shed leaving the door open all night. I have no idea if its still in there, oh well...

I got some in my neighborhood. I see them once in awhile in my front yard.

What a marvelous set

Each one of these has so much character that it could be a post on its own. I really was held to the screen as I scrolled down the page. As cute and lovable the the nest shots are the last is a completely different type of great shot. The interaction you captured is priceless. This really is a wonderful set. Really well done!!!
