Interesting comments.
While some see the same thing
over and over I see a really creative style that is adjusted for every model. The hair, clothing and makeup fits the person which is an art in itself. You
fit the lighting conditions of the day to enhance your image and perfect each in post processing to equal the look you are hired and known for. That
is a lot of work which I am sure many may not understand the complexity and creative ability required to master.

I'm curious, Lisa. You posted eight wonderful images. One of which is monotone. It works very well as b&w in my eye. So I'm wondering what led you in your creative process to present it that way. What was it about that image that told you b&w?

Thank you so much for all of the comments.
jodo - it was the emotion and connection between the kids that I wanted to highlight in that image, and I felt that by removing the color, it removed any distractions from focusing in on that emotion.

I would be very disappointed Lisa to see something other than you following the style you love. You have mastered your style with grace and ability. Not many can say that.

Another fan of your amazing work here Lisa...
I don't know anything about your post processing workflow, and whether or not your use PS, LR, and/or other tools/plug-ins, etc. But one quick question. The blurred background in almost all your shots does not look like something that you would get by just relying on your depth of field, not even with your 200 f/2. So I am curious. Do you add extra blur to your backgrounds in post? And if so, do you do that in LR (say, using radial filter), or in PS using blur filter? And since that is not something you could do in batch, I am curious how much time do you spend on post processing of every one of your shots?

Thanks again everyone. I never add fake blur to my photos - it is all done in camera.
Thanks for the quick response. I believe that. Actually, after I wrote my previous comment, I just went back and looked at a few of our own shots with 200 f/2 (which we have recently acquired), and yes, at f/2, if the background is far enough away, it does seem to blur pretty nicely...

very nice as usual, and once again wish we had the weather & locations here to enjoy.
My only nit is with number 2.
Her dress looks like it is held up by the bush, but then you can see repetitive cloning so maybe someone was holding the dress? I think it also had the background darkened too much to look natural.
#4 I think it is - didn't even see the boy there on first view
Love how you managed to get some clear footpath in vegas with lights in the background. I love the effect the 200 f2 gives you, sometimes I wish there was a bit more definition in the background, kind of like the maternity pic on the red rock, that one is great...the colours are lovely.
