I like em all, but the 1st and the last stand out pretty far, specially the first just gives you the sense of whats going on, very dramatic, the last one in the other hand with warmth of the sun, and these curves just does it...

Wait, you took those this morning? The weather is still going on, shouldn't you be out waiting for sunset? I'm considering driving out to GC for sunset, but the webcam is showing nothing but solid gray. Looks like N-AZ and S-UT will be getting weather for a few more days, so there should be some nice photo ops in the area through the weekend.

Thanks very much guys!
It was one of those surprise once a year things.
Ironically, I went past Mesa Arch and there were zero cars in the parking lot... Fresh snow... But I had a mission which never quite materialized. Maybe next year...
I Confess! I did spend a lot of time concentrating on #4 !
It was a waiting game between the sun rising higher and higher and what started as pea soup fog gradually dissipating.

I love Mesa Arch if it has under arch glow, otherwise not so much. I have plenty of them without the glow. I probably would have passed by in this weather condition. I expect many of those who show up there feel the same right or wrong. The glow is the main attraction.

1,2 and 4 for me. Really great atmosphere for a desert scene!
