Being in medical school I rarely get time to go and shoot. Given that we are currently on a much needed spring break, I decided to head to the beach nearby to capture the sunrise. The first day, I got to the beach, set up my tripod and put the appropriate filters on the lens and turned on the camera to find out there was no SD card which resulted in the beach goers being exposed to some expletives. The sunrise was gorgeous.
The second day, I checked the weather the night before and it was encouraging. Got up at 5am and checked again - 76 and clear. Took a shower and checked just before I grabbed all the gear - 77 and clear. And then it started pouring when I was about 3 minutes away from the beach. Welcome to South Florida, one of the signs said.
This was one of the few grabbed from under a cabana when the rain stopped for a few minutes. The water really did look that green.
