Thanks. I don't have the most updated versions of software, so I think this is a good workable solution for those that don't have a Mac, but don't have the cash to upgrade software. I did this with DCRaw and Photoshop CS3. For speed, I used Lightroom for color, but can do the same with CS3.

Just wanted to thank you guys for this thread. Been pulling my hair out trying to get a good RAW image to work in PS with. Was trying to use Adobe Camera Raw. I am using the Zeiss 12mm Touit on a XT-1 and it was just not resolving like the specs say it should.

Switched to Iridient with just a breath of (1 radius,1 Iteration) R-L sharpening and the DNG XT-1 profile and BINGO! Exported directly into PSD. Exactly what I was looking for.

OK here I am in ADD mode.

I just got a trial of Photo Ninja and it works is even better than the Iridient. Easy to use too. Using just a small amount of sharpening, before going Photoshop. Because Photo Ninja is sharpening on some fine detail better than my custom sharpening actions. So I added it to my sequence. Color rendition is beautiful and natural and worked the best for the blown out (or on the very edge of the RAW info) highlights on an over exposed photo.

Nice. Thanks again!

Excellent! It always nice to get the most out of our photographic tools. I use both PN and Iridient now.
