The Earth theme is a great idea and your post-processing works very well. I particularly like how you processed the highlights.
You got some amazing images on this set. Truly inspiring.

Fabulous images Klaus! I'd say Horseshoe Sunset is my favorite, but they're all wonderful, and I might pick another as my favorite 5 minutes from now Canopy would be my runner up at them moment.
2&5 for me Klaus. The color works for me and them. They look 3D. I can see were strata lines end at the top of 1 formation and continue up the back one.
The rest for me, the brown doesnot work...yes it is warm but for me does nothing to the composition.
Good luck on your experiment. That is what art is all about.

Thank you all so very much for the thoughts and comment. The toning isn't for everyone but it does add another dimension to monochrome images. I am going to keep on working the toning and refine it a little more

These are really a unique take on these Southwest images. Very nice work - I personally find the processing adds a lot of drama. Almost an HDR effect on top of the toning. Unique but very appealing.
Very nice images, pleasing to look at specially #1 and 2. #5 is really nice also although I find the HDR a tad intrusive and not really necessary for it to be that heavy. The composition is spot on. Thx for posting.
