конечно, "чувак" (<-new word my wife taught me, ха-ха ). It just seemed an odd happenstance that one could either buy a calculator for a discounted lens, or buy a camera, for the same discounted lens. It's almost like airline industry pricing! Wholly inscrutable to the "incognoscenti".

This one is proving to be a real keeper. I was expecting so-so performance, but so far I'm getting near L performance. Very good sharpness and contrast. Haven't tried for vignetting or distortion yet. A downside is a disturbingly quite audible sound and 'tremoring' during auto focus.
Haven't tried the freebies yet: calculator nor the lens cleaning tissues
I remember paying $400 for a simple 4 function calculator some decades ago. Now they seem to be just about disposable!!.
