You always have an especially good feel for color and mood Bobby and these are no exception. The opener is a beauty for sure, a lake full of birds, a sky with lovely clouds and light and to tie them together a formation of birds in flight........sweet!
Set 2 # 2 and #4 of
Set 3..........I love pano shots
Great imagery Bobby, a nice interpretation and presentation, lovely!

Glad I am able to get you all psyched up. Good luck with the blast-off shoot! Sandies in flight are a lot more predictable, but you do need a long lens, preferably a 600. That was my big handicap, as I had only a 300 + 1.4x TC which is woefully short.

On my way there, super excited now. Great series, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Karl! Wow … you still remember my old Bosque images from 3-4 years ago? I have not posted much at all since my last Bosque trip. I had a lot more color before. For those who may be interested in checking out my older Bosque photos:

#1, 2 and 5 in this set was shot with a 24-70 lens. #3 and #4 was with a 300 + 1.4x TC.

Well done on the birds in landscape. We don't see enough of that from Bosque, in my opinion. What was your lens of choice for Set 3? -Mike

In 5 I couldn't but think: "our arrows will blot out the sun"! Such a nice set Bobby
Funny you should say that, as I was thinking the same thing - I was hoping that if the blast-off had been a lot closer to us (like this shot below) and coming towards us, much of the sun would be blocked out.
Incredible stuff. What great panoramas and colour. Say hello to Josh (?Ong) for me. Too bad I couldn't make it. Looks like I missed some great stuff! Don
