Superb set and post processing as always Kirk. The Osprey and the sharp as a tack Black Phoebe are my favorites. Splendid job!
Thanks for mentioning the Black Phoebe image Tom, I've been trying for quite awhile to get a good image of one, and I was thrilled to get this beauty in front of some lush green reeds in the BG.

If this is an addiction I hope you never get help. You should embrace the demons and continue to scratch the itch ....over and over and over again. Just brilliant photos Kirk.the perfect flight shots that are accompanied by glorious backgrounds. I can only wish that I could get a single in flight as good as these.

Yeah I think it's best to just stay in denial about needing any help and keep getting my pond fix as often as possible.
Really appreciate the very generous words my friend.
You're the master at catching those super fast waterfowl and waders in flight, Kirk! That merganser shot is just a killer! Hard to pick any favs, though, they're all that good!

Excellent work Kirk. The backgrounds on the first 3 are to just die for! Super clean and crisp images. Somehow eye candy always comes to mind when I look at your images and these fit that bill. The ground hugging, pond skimming, radar avoiding missile in the last a killer grab, I KNOW that one is no simple shot
Great work Kirk
Tim
Many thanks for the very gracious words Tim... the conditions were perfect on these two outings.
First time ever seeing a Mergie at the ponds... I saw her right after she landed to my far left, took a few static shots thinking she be off soon, and sure enough she blasted off right past me... you'll probably see 1 or 2 more of her pass in future posts.
