Got busy with work and travel for a couple of weeks, am trying to catch up with comments, and have enjoyed the "Best of 2013 thread" tremendously. Before I get even farther behind, here are a handful more of Pantanal pijuns from the Fall. (Still working on those felids, probably to the dismay of my travel consultant, aka eyelaser). All pretty common and easy to see, sometimes even approach.
Comments, criticisms, advice always appreciated; happy holidays to all.
What took so long Greg These are gorgeous! Ok, worth the wait...you are forgiven. And while I won't pick a favorite I will single out the sun bittern as I have never seen one let alone one as good as this one.

Winner set, Greg. every single photo is beautiful. Sorry, I can't pick because I love them all Greg. I keep viewing back and forth and I just love this set. Great work as usual.
What a beautiful set from down south Greg. I can't imagine a flock of troupials marauding the feeder, what a site that must be!! Excellent job on the KF, super details. I'm going to go against the bunch here, yeah what else is new , the swallow is my pick of the set. I really like the fine details, sharp from head to toe and the comp of that shot. For the bittern.. uh oh here he comes.... I would crop out the reflection, it doesn't really add any value in my mind and the bright elements in the bg above the birds head are distracting, maybe tone them down a bit. I'm guessing since that one is at 500 and the others are 700 you could stand to crop it more. Just my opinions
Holy cow, Greg... I was really impressed with the first one, and then I scrolled down and almost fell out of my chair! Those KF images are about the best I have ever seen! The last two are also stunners! All of them are super sharp with great colors and clarity! What a set

Eric, I was quivering with anxiety for your response, worried less about the wait and more about the absence of cats! Thanks so much for stopping by (again).
