Word spread of a Snowy Owl present in Central Kansas a few days ago. I came across the bird along an unrelated trip across the state on Saturday morning. The owl was exactly where it was last reported the day before, so I lucked out. I hope it's finding something to eat. What a beautiful animal, and what a treat to see and photograph.
