Some stellar work here! Fab!
Here's three of my favourites. All shot on Hassy Xpan2, 30mm F5.6 on Velvia50.
A trip to Moab for 7 days in February, and another 3 week road trip in September!

Hi Andy, great set, this year I am going to get to Cascade Meadows before the oaks are gone.
That's what you said last year Ben. Haha, but seriously, it was a lousy year for fall color, I considered myself very lucky that I was able to get that shot.

I took more wildlife than landscape shots this year but here are my 3 personal favourites. They don't match any of the awesome posts in this thread but I hope you still enjoy them

Well,
Like David I spent a lot of time expanding my horizons and searching for critter shots in the past year. Neglecting landscape unfortunately. Still, each of these three, although maybe not as spectacular as others I see here this year, brings back special feelings of the time and place to me as to when I took them. I can vividly recall everything with each one, sights, smells, temperature, the crunch underfoot, sleeping in my Jeep at 5 degrees.

I didn't get to do much landscape photography in 2013 and most of what I did do got stolen in Athens on our way back from the Greek islands, but here are two from Dorset that I'm reasonably pleased with. Both just by Durdle Door but not up to the standard of most of the fabulous images here. Finally, a bit of an experiment that I'm quite pleased with.

Please take this personally posters sense I can't comment on each set.......you folks are REALLY good. With all of the amazing shots around here it is easy to feel you are an average photographer, or worse. But compared to the whole you folks are the cream of the crop :-))
Loving each post!!

It's been a busy year for all things non-photography, and I expect it will be even harder next year to find time for dedicated landscape shooting. Just the same, it's been a good year for me. Enjoy!

I'll humbly share these, not to compete, but to contribute. There's so much great work here, I couldn't hold a candle to some of these fine works. Wow, amazing shots from 2013 all!
All entries shot with Leica M9 digital camaera: Lenses, 35mm Summilux, and 75mm Summicron Filters, only UV filters used
"Golden Stream" , on the The road of Tremont, Great Smoky Mountains National Park (2 shot vertical Pano)

Hey, I was looking through these images and discovered a great little trick.
On a Laptop or PC, probably Apple too, if you do the following, in this order, you can look at the images at their maximum potential and beauty.
1). Press F11 to give you full screen viewing. It removes your menu bars, etc. (this has to be done first, or some artifacts remain on the desktop).
2). Then click on whatever image you are looking at it sets it in presentation mode with a nice black background. Most of us knew this step, but it should be after #1.
3). But now you can do the good step! By using your arrow keys, you can scroll through all the thread images (on that page) without any text, or extra distractions. Just like a slideshow.
4). Press [Esc] then F11 again to get back to the normal desktop.
The only thing it's not doing, which would be cool is moving from page to page in a thread. Or better yet, when a thread is done, step down to the next thread..

And if you have a Mac just click on any picture and you have the same black background slide show using your arrow key. Really is a nice feature!

Same as the PC, just click on a photo and it will show up against a black background.
