p.1 #1 · Post your BEST 3 Landscape images of 2013
To copy Craig (ckcarr) from last year here is a post your best image(s) of 2013. This year I've seen some pretty spectacular images on this forum and look forward to seeing what you all consider is your best of 2013.
Electric Fire Sunset is my personal best of 2013. For me everything came together in one scene that I had envisioned the day before after reading the forecast. Click HERE to see the thread with more info on the photo.
Post away!!!
*** To add to the 2013 Best image thread, this year we will change it up just a little bit. Each person can post up to 3 images instead of the usual just 1 image. We have had some excellent work show in here this last year, so please post up to 3 images. You can post only 1 image if you want, or only 2 images if you want, but no more than 3 images.
******* There will be too many great shots for everyone to comment on in here, so be sure to click on the "LIKE" button on the posts that you like. That will make for a simple form of feedback for everyone.

Awesome! Thanks for starting this thread up Scott. I always lurked and drooled over these "Best of" threads during my years of not shooting landscape. Luckily this year I picked it up and have some shots I can contribute. It'll be hard to follow up on your 3 shots, especially the first So epic!
This is tougher then I though. I've been staring at my portfolio of shots for a good 20 minutes. Surprisingly even though I've traveled to a lot of awesome places, the 3 I finally picked out are from locations relatively close to home.
Here is my favourite image.
Here is the best light I've ever seen.
And here is my first, which will always have the strongest memory attached to it for me

I'm not sure if I should post any of my photos, since they don't even come close to Scott's and Justin's contributions. I'm especially amazed by Justin's photos - he's already on a level I'll probably never reach.
So here are 3 photos from this year I'm happy with. I have a couple more I'd like to post, but there's that 3 photo restriction...

Well a bit of a landscape, I decided to show my fashion shooting in nature ....
Landscape is a hobby where model, fashion, and apparel is my day time professional career...
I love this series, I hope you do to. A convergence if nature and beauty

wow...great images from those that have posted so far...such a wide variety...fun to look at.
I happened to be compiling my 2013 images a week ago, doing my calendar for 2014...so I had them all sorted already. Its funny to me, what I think are my best, all have mental and emotional connections to them. They may not be the ones that were most successful here on FM or elsewhere when they were posted, but for me....these are my top 3.
#1 image of the year, and probably my life...on my trip to Arches with my dad.
#2 the wildest sunset light I have ever seen...while on vacation with my family
#3 not quite as crazy light, but something about the color and the storm brewing...last night spent with my life long best friend after we laid his wife to rest...

Here's my contribution to this excellent idea- (it's a good way to catch some of the fave shots I may have missed).
Not shot this year- but posted this year (what can I say? I was born earlier than most of you ).
Three non-iconic interpretations of Death Valley's iconic and captivating Mesquite Sand Dunes.
