Plenty cold outside today so decided to stay indoors with the fireplace going to process some of my previous photos.
Dug up a few older foggy scenes, contrasting some with a very warm feeling to others that send shivers down your back.
I especially like the simplicity and soft color of the first two. In a time when when jumbled harsh contrast and garish over saturation are getting the kudos, these two images are soothing to the senses.

Nice "zen" type compositions...your eye is taken into the compositions and the simpleness of the images in b/w let the mind create its own interpretation.

Thanks all for your comments. Been out X-country skiing in very cold conditions this afternoon. I have No.1 hanging in my den and it truly does give one a warming feeling when looking at it.
How cool these are! You really captured the misty, foggy mood so well. #1 and 2 are my favorites, the addition of the reflections really create two unique shots.
