It would be interesting to hear the back story on how you came to capture this awesome moment Don. Were you just happening by and it happened quickly, or were you staking out a known feeding area for hours patiently preparing and hoping for a magic moment?
Either way it's a spectacular image that you have every right to be very proud of Don.
Excellent work, huge congrats.

Thanks Kirk. I'll tell the story in a future post but it took 6 hours and some fortunate guesses , a knowledgeable guide and my wife getting heat stroke. True! Don

Amazing shot. Love the head of the cheetah framed within the horns of the prey. The athleticism of the cheetah comes through wonderfully. Very special.
Dave
Thanks Dave. The cheetahs that made this skill were in great need of food yet they had the patience and strength to hunt successfully. Incredible sight to witness. Don
You'll never get the chance at a shot like this if you aren't out there trying, so you looked after the first step by being there. When the opportunity came up, you were prepared and capable. An excellent image resulted. Thanks for sharing this one Don. Really enjoyed viewing it.
