Thanks Ben, Gary, Jeffrey, Lars, vieri, and Sneakyracer! Also, thank you to everyone who voted for this thread, I really appreciate it!
I have added a revised version of Canyon Oasis without the blue tint to the water. When I uploaded the new version, it changed the order my photographs were arranged in. Anyone have any clues about why this happened? I guess I will have to go back and upload each image again in the right order.
Jeffrey - Thanks for your feedback! Getting other opinions, such as the blue water change, allows me to improve my photography and make better prints. With that being said, I must respectfully disagree with your take on these images being too contrasty/saturated. These all ARE high contrast scenes; to present them any other way would not have been doing them justice. With Golden Arch Pines in particular, I had the slide on a light table beside me as I was editing the scan. My only goal was to make the scan exactly like the slide. Now granted, it is Velvia, but I feel it was extremely accurate in capturing the scene. It's all art though, so in the end I guess none of it really matters. I had a look at your gallery...while our taste in image styles differ, it does look like we possess the same taste in image location!
