Has anybody purchased a refurb printer from epson. I think the 2200 will work for me and I can save a couple hundred bucks purchasing the refurb?

I bought a refurb 2200 from Epson about this time last year. I have had no problems with it at all (well, except when trying to print roll paper on a 3" core which the 2200 is not designed to do). I think this is a very good way to get one of these excellent printers at a reasonable price.

I also purchased a re-furb about this time last year. Full warranty, 200 bucks less, and no problems so far--knock-on-wood. I'm on my eighth set of inks.

I tried to purchase a refurb but they were out of stock for a while. i finally purchased a new unit from amazon no tax or shipping at a far price. Long story short i had a problem and they sent me a replacemet unit ... it was a refurb, that had a problem and i was sent another which has worked great. on the up side each time they sent me a replacement is comes with a full set of ink.

bottom line it pints a very good image.
