The Milky Way pic was taken with the same combo at Roche Harbor on San Juan Island. I had plans to take Milky Way pics at Olympic National Park, but it was too cloudy.
One of two autocephalous orthodox churches in my city soon after sunday's devotion.Built in Baroque style in the XVIIth century,it served Roman-Catholics till the end of WWII.Burned out and destroyed in April 1945,it was rebuilt and handed over to small community of orthodox christians, along with other, bigger gothic cathedral.

Another temple,Greco-Catholic church - less then 500m metres away from previous one.(Greco-Catholics have orthodox lithurgy, but they are not autocephalous, accepting pope of Rome as their leader).Big gothic cathedral built in the XIII century, served as Roman-Catholic church till the end of the WWII.Then the same story again.Destroyed and burned in April 1945,rebuilt and given to Greco-Catholics,now increasing in number,as about one milion emigrants from Ukraine have arrived to Poland during the last decade.Strangely,to the humble gothic aedifice, richly ornamented rococo chapel was added at the end of XVIII century. So now the mixture of styles and cults there is really uniqe.I like to go there to listen to the choir singing polyphonic songs in medieval Old Church Slavic language.
