I have over the years really enjoyed my time spent photographing whitetail deer. I find it to be a very challenging pursuit to capture a whitetail buck image that has wide appeal.
There are an abundance of whitetail deer photographers making some outstanding deer imagery that feature large bucks. Photos of such tend to sell well in today's sportsman's market. I will confess that if I see a large buck I do get very excited, however I am more in pursuit of deer images that hopefully capture those special moments that appeal to all (moments I like to refer to as "Nature's Moments").
These are well done, Nick. Deer are tough. For some odd reason my #1 is cutoff at the shoulders but I really like the last two, more the last- rut time.
Nick these images are art. The last shot with the motion blur is simple gorgeous and I really like the way you composed the deer ducking below the barbed wire fence.
Mission accomplished on capturing some special moments that appeal to all Nick.
Excellent work on the whole set, but #1 is the standout for me... #3 is pretty cool too just for a different perspective.
These are all top shelf and each is unique in its own way. The first is my personal favorite but I would be pleased to have any or all on my hard drive!
Eric
A fine set of images Nick, with the last being my fave. I really like the feel of that one. Super color in the first couple. 3 & 4 are also well captured. Unfortunately, my own efforts in deer photography could be best summed up as "Natures Movements". After seeing these, I'll have an even harder time being satisfied with my token efforts.
