Incredible set Charlie. Possible the best I've seen from you. At least to my tastes. All are excellent but 3 and 4. Gallery worthy IMHO!

Charlie.............amazing set IMHO. Something very cool about how they all look together here

You are definitely a traveler and I am glad you carried a camera

#1 nice amount of foreground to guide me back and enjoy the play of light and textures
#2 so glad that the horizon was above center in this one, I love the foreground and the richness of the light and strength of mountains in this image, gosh this is a great one
#3 How did you do that, it keeps playing tricks on my eyes

Dramatic and energizing!
#4 wonderful light spilling in to offer all that texture. At times it looks like two ghostly figures

#5 Grand Canyon...........yes indeed!

Charlie, I like all of them, but, gosh, No. 2 - what is more real, the subject or its reflection? It doesn't really matter, as the viewer is really drawn in, either way. The streaking clouds, rich light and lay of the mountains make this very pleasing.

Nice series from a variety of great locations. No. 2 is my favorite here because of the colors and geometry.

Re the Death Valley image: occasionally heavy rains in the surrounding mountains bring enough water into the valley's catchments so that shallow, wide "lakes" appear for a few days or weeks.
The main one is at Badwater (the lowest surface elevation in North America). And that's where I took the shot.
Note- I stayed on the hardscrabble all the time because footprints made in the mud will last for years, and IMO that's inexcusable to do on purpose.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful set of scenics Charlie... very well seen and captured.

These images are well thought out and nicely composed, you have a good eye for landscapes.

I enjoyed seeing each of these, and you're living my dream of being a traveler with a camera.

Getting to Uluru is a bit of a hassle as far as transportation is concerned- but easily do-able.
And it'll still be waiting for you, Justin. Just remember the seasons are reversed in the Land of Oz- and summers in the Red Center are blisteringly hot.

Nice set. I like the #1 shot, probably because I hope to visit there someday.
Overall the first three shots are very clean shots -- simple, clear vision. That's a good recipe to follow.
