Lisa these are absolutely fantastic, they could be editorial, I'm sure this girl and her family must be thrilled with them, is this location close to where you live? I would not be able to consider shooting anywhere else if this was anywhere near me, thanks for sharing, Bill.
Thank you everyone for your comments and thoughts. I am not sure which tribe she is a part of but I will try to find out and will share if I do.
Bill - this is the Valley of Fire near Las Vegas -unfortunately, it's a 2 1/2 hour drive for me, but so, so beautiful. Ever since shooting a couple of sessions there, it's been getting specifically requested. I do charge extra to make the drive but people do not seem to care.
I know that these comments are not new .... Beautiful girl, Beautiful venue, Fantastic job.. I have ALWAYS been blown away by your images...these are no different.. Awesome!!! We want more...

As great as these shots are, am I the only person that think they could be a little sharper (the closer shots) have you af fine tuned these lenses?
@Ryan - I have never purchased a permit and have never been asked to produce one either. I've seen park rangers drive by while I'm shooting and they just wave and keep on going. lol There is a $10 park entrance fee (per vehicle).
Lisa!
I've driven through Kingman last winter, on my way to Flagstaff. Car rental company didn't activate XM on the vehicle, so it was a silent journey. Just me and my brain (and the tumbleweeds, and later, the endless stars). But aaahh, what a land! I came across these forums after seeing your thread on DP Review. Boy, it's a lion's den in there, huh? Tough crowd :-/
MICHAEL!! So happy to see you here! You all should have stopped and said hi - let me know next time you are passing through. I'm on ILP but not much - it's pretty slow there these days.
