Caught this amazing action from a long way off. These are close to 100% crops but I thought it was a cool thing to share. 10 frames, shot at 12FPS, so all of this in under 1second

I have another series of images 5 seconds before this series and there are actually 2 eagles chasing the one with the food. In the first series, both eagles do the upside down lunge but he doesn't drop the food. So I think it is intimidation and it finally got him stressed enough to drop the food in the series I posted. Crazy how they can go upside down. Thanks for the comment.
