Shot last night at the Roswell Mill Falls just down the road from my house. The area is at peak right now...I was standing knee deep in the fast running COLD water to get this shot. Shot at 17mm on the 17-40L on the 5DMKII. This is about as wide angle as I can get...I had to make sure the tripod legs were set up just right to keep them out of the shot!

Well done Travis. Being an avid kayaker, I love river photographs. Darn, now you have got me wishing I wasn't at work.

Thanks Jim. I bet you could Kayak this one, the middle gets pretty deep, but the little cascades are fairly shallow, some of it less than knee deep. I wish I was out shooting and not at work....
Nice!
I walk by dog back there and down at Vickery Creek regularly.
And Agreed its perfect right now. You must be close to me, I am just behind Bullock Hall.

Thanks. That is a great area to walk a dog...I wish I lived closer to it. I live just across 400 but it takes me less than 10 minutes to get to this place...

Love the flow, the exposure seem good for the scene an motion effect.
Glad it works for you. I shot a few different combinations but wanted to keep the texture in the water and this duration seemed to do that the best.
