I have not had much time lately to sit at the computer, but hopefully tomorrow I will be able to sit down and try to tone down the hot spot in the photo.
jstephens62, I used a little exposure compensation and worked the curves a little in Photoshop.

Your excellent exposure control and processing has produced terrific color and detail.

Such depth to this image Nick. Looking at it for quite a while I found so many interesting aspects to the whole photo. Of course the subject is outstanding. But the piercing eyes along with the lights in the background, as if there are hundred more eyes back there is so interesting. Even the light rimming the feather tips and the foot/talon make this a great image.
