Testing the ultimate resolving power of Zuiko 50mm f/3.5 macro on fully elongated Olympus Auto-Telescopic Tube with OM-D EM-5. Roughly 5 x life-size reproduction.
I have two of this lenses...50mm 1.4 and 100 2.8...none are very sharp, but can yield interesting results in the right situation...This one is @5.6, VSCO treated...
Colorful captures as always. Peire why do not you preent a comparative series with Zuiko 90, Tamron 90 52B(B) and Tokina 90 2.5? I am sure your never ending arsenal include both of them.

I haven't enough patience to make comparative shots.I soon get bored and irritated.

Agreed. It's not as easy as it sounds! Getting exposure, focus, framing and everything else to be identical enough for a good comparison is a lot of work. Even then it's just one result. Change things up a little and the results can change. Then there is always copy variation. You can buy one but it doesn't mean you will get the same result.

Not enough for just 6 photos? 3x1 for f/2.5(28) and another 3x1 for f/4 maybe.
Hello again, sorry for that.Pdmphoto's explanation is what I would also like to say.
My personal and subjective overall assesment would be as follows
1st place for Zuiko 90/2.0 - excellent lens with character (and some minor, usual flaws)
2nd place for Tokina 90/2.5 - very close or better in some aspects compared to the Zuiko in absolute lab terms, excellent as the 3rd party lens of the time, but I still prefer the Zuiko for it's overall performance
3rd place for Tamron 90/2.5 - it lags behind the two above significantly (sensor flare, fringing small details at RR 1;2 or higher wo),but is still a very good, versatile lens within it's limitations.
The first two landscapes with wild chamomiles (not daisies :-)),taken with 24/2.8 Zuiko were at f11,ISO 200 and IBIS on.I don't remember the shutter speed as I work in aperture priority, being aware of DOF rather than speed as long as it's handholdable unshaken.Best guess is somewhere between 1/60 and 1/100s,but you can have a look at exif for more exact data.
