I agree about how 50mm score highly across the board. Too bad X1D has only 1/3s read out speed. If it has mechanical shutter or 1/60S read out, I might get it already.
Just got back from the Smokey Mountains National Park. We got hit by a Winter Storm on the first day of spring. I thought it would be cool to get a shot of green grass, water flowing and snow in the trees. I drove around looking for what I had in mind and was fortunate to find a spot that had all the elements I wanted in the photo. It was well worth the freezing temps while doing the shoot.
