Michael - I really like that last shot. Could also look great in B&W...
Thanks, Gary, I will give it a try and post back. Coincidentally, I am not really happy with the Process of that shot, especially color actually. It was a short time process, I will see what I can improve upon it

Look forward to seeing this thread pop up in my email everyday. Great work Michael! Which body are you using?
I've been spending too much time in the chaos of the 5Ds Announcement thread. Ahhh... this is so much better! Truly enjoy seeing your work Stefan. I wish I had the funds for the 645z to try it out for awhile. I know you must be really enjoying it - and - it shows in your work. Are you satisfied with the ergonomics / handling?
Many thanks Jim. Indeed I haven't spent any time in the 5Ds announcement thread. Now I took a look at the first articles about the Canon. And the speak is about numbers, how many pixels, how many processors which has a specific number and how many this how many that. But nothing about photographic quality.
And the 645Z is something like "my camera". The 5Ds will be a tool for everything. As I do no sports photography but Cityscape, Urbex, Landscape, often at night on the one hand hand and people on the other, the cam feels right for me. It's specialized for that. And one important point is ergonomics/handling. There are all the knobs on the outside, instead of searching in the menu. The size fits perfectly into my hand. It's weather sealed, so when it started raining while I was shooting in Hamburg, I proceeded. And the 4:3 aspect ratio, while requiring a bigger and heavier mirror and shutter, gives you more freedom for composing your shot. Especially in portrait mode it's much nicer.
I absolutely love my 645D, it's one of those cameras that just clicks with me. I've decided to transition to the 645Z once my camera fund is big enough, I think the increase in FPS and ISO sensitivity will let me use the camera for a lot of situations I didn't initially consider.
Ryan - love your Calgary Tower shots! The first one is especially good. I am always thinking of ways to photography it but never do for some reason.... What time of day was the first one taken?
Thanks Gary! They were taken around 2pm, I kept glancing out my office window that day waiting for the clouds to be directly over 9th Ave. Forgot my glove since I was rushing and found out long exposures combined with -20ish temperatures is not a good idea.

Cause S lens is too fidelity, I feel hesitate to PP them
It really has minimal PP compare other images I have. S with their lens has best color I ever seen. (to My like anyway)
Haha, I've been having the same problem. I don't know why, but I feel wrong editing the S-files. It takes away from it somehow
Weird as I also feel that way about the 50APO sometimes.

I'm with you on the 645D, Ryan. I've never been happier with a DSLR.
