GFX 50S and 80mm Summilux R
I really enjoy using GFX. It is almost perfect for me to using manual lens on it. I should have got it earlier.
I guess it's better than X1D for adapting lenses. I didn't know you could use S lenses on the GFX, what adapter is that?

It is way better for me personally. Fuji is a real life system with no market gimmicks It is not a show piece but super logical and functional. After using all these bodies recently, I'd say Fuji is as good as any brand on ergo part, there is no much improvement I can suggest actually. (super rare) I absolutely love it. This really gives me a open mind on brand thing that there is really no best brand out there but finding one suit you the best.
I used Fotodiox adapter for S glasses. I basically shooting WO all the time, not a big issue as that is what I did if I am not travelling or do landscape with S2/S006/S007 most of time anyway. Half of my S glasses can not reach infinity (other than 100cron and 120 APO) with this adapter with so so build quality like any fotodiox adapters, but this is the only option I have. I even emailed Novoflex about it but nobody replied me. So, be aware of its limitation. Again, not bother me.
On the other hand, shooting with Leica R,M, Canon EF mount and Nikon lens can be really fun. I bought two Fuji glasses 50m and 63mm but almost didn't touch them
Great to hear you like the gfx 50 Michael. Nice work as usual.
I moved to the gfx camp some months ago. I love the shooting experience and the files from this camera. Its not an action camera but for what I shoot (landscapes, macros, portraits) it just rocks.
Made recently going on short motor trips to deserted places with my wife (senior Citizens and being very careful). GFX 50 R with 32-64mm lens at about f13, ISO 400,
Thanks for looking

Too much time on my hands...I played around with a recent image to suggest a painting. For those that don't know, before I got my B.S. and M.S. Engineering Degrees from Drexel, I had out of high school a full tuition and fees scholarship to The Tyler School of Fine Arts at Temple University. I did not finish. I actually studied under Dean Boris Bly (sculpture). GFX 50R 32-64mm lens, ISO 400, f13.

Spent all day editing and finishing three images I had stashed away from our car trips to out of the way places. Here is the third image. It is a bit "busy", but I like it anyway as it gives me the feeling of being there. GFX 50R 32-64mm lens, ISO 400 f13.

Kent, you used MF lens on FF gear
and I use FF lens on MF camera
GFX 50S and 55 Nikkor f2.8 manual lens, I like this lens on GFX a lot. It was in a bundle I got from a PB6 setup 5 years ago, I didnt bother to use it and never thought a 30 years old Nikkor can be this good, exceptional build quality as well, small and high quality material.
