Are we still arguing? I thought we were being nice. 8 of the 10 children are in school (1 just being preschool half days) and I tend to the others of course. I am a woman - multitasking is my middle name.
I was showing my wife your website and work and then told her you had 10 kids. Shes pregnant with our first and still scratching her head how you have time to photograph, cull, edit, meet and greet with clients basically do a whole lotta work and handle 10 kids lol
Yes, all natural glam. lolol In reality though, I had no control over that. I was a little shocked by them too. Believe it or not, I massively shrunk them down in the front on shot. hahaha
That's just how she showed up. I can only offer suggestions. I was pretty shocked too but I guess she likes how they look, and they're her pictures, so it is what it is I guess.

Wow, now that they were mentioned, that is all I can see.
Actually, it is up to *us* (the creator of the art) to direct the subject, not suggest, IMO.
Had she shown up with these lashes to my shoot, I would have had her take them off.
I think that would be pretty rude, personally. If she likes how she looks with them on, how would she perceive you demanding that she remove them on the shoot? I wasn't going to go there. I personally think they look fine in the profile shots (which is why I edited more of those). Not totally loving them in the straight on shots but if that's how she wanted to look, who am I to demand her to remove them? She's paying me, not the other way around. I may be the 'creator of the art' but I'm also being commissioned and paid by her to photograph her - therefore, I only have so much control over how she is going to look. Now if this were an unpaid shoot I were doing for myself for fun, that would be a different story. And even then, asking someone to flat out REMOVE something they think looks nice on them would be awkward at best.

Point well taken, Lisa.
I guess it is a pet peeve of mine when photographers let the clients dictate the session, but you have some valid points.
